Sarah Ring is currently pursuing her Masters degree in History at Concordia University. She graduated magna cum laude from Montreal’s other English-language university -McGill- with an undergraduate degree in History and Political Science. Currently, her main interest pertains to the interaction between people, place, and nature within the urban landscape. As well she is interested in issues related to food security, especially the past and present use and prevalence of urban agriculture in Montreal. Her interest in food within the urban setting has transferred to her volunteering activities where she helps out at the NDG Food Depot.
